
Ester Kandinova – opera singer, laureate of international competitions.
Ester was born in Saint Petersburg, she began studying classical music from an early age. After graduating from the Saint Petersburg Music Lyceum with a specialization in piano, she studied at the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov from 2008 to 2014, majoring in Academic Vocal Performance.
In 2017, she participated in the Voice Program at the Chautauqua Institution in New York, and in 2019, she completed an internship at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Singing Center.
She has attended masterclasses with Ildar Abdrazakov, Luciana D’Intino, Edda Lienbacher, Craig Rutenberg, and Fabio Paggiazzi.
She is a laureate of international vocal competitions in Finland and Germany. In 2015, she received the “Figaro” award in the “Path to the Stage” nomination. In 2019, she performed at the Chamber Stage named after B. Pokrovsky at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia. In 2021, she made her debut at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre, performing the role of Marfa in Rimsky-Korsakov’s opera The Tsar’s Bride, and has been a guest soloist of the theatre since then.
She has collaborated with renowned conductors such as Alexander Kantorov, Mikhail Golikov, Evgeny Shestakov, Yuri Krylov, Immo Meinen, and Alexander Makarov.
Currently, she actively performs in concerts across Europe.
