
Chrysostomos Neophytou (violin). From the age of eight, the violin has been the voice of Chrysostomos Neophytou, a journey ignited under the tutelage of Andreas Nicolaou. This passion led him to Paris, where he honed his artistry with violin virtuosos Marie Jo Calvi and Pierre Olivier Queyras, earning diplomas in both violin and chamber music. While in Paris, Chrysostomos shared his knowledge through teaching and graced the stage in numerous concerts, notably as a soloist and principal violinist with multible Orchestra. His performances sparked a deep connection with contemporary music, fostering collaborations with innovative composers like Ivan Bellocq. Summer masterclasses with esteemed musicians such as Thomas Brandis, Su Zhen, Tasmin Little, and Pierre-Olivier Queyras further enriched his musical palette.
In 2009, the Trio Dell’Arte was born, a vibrant ensemble with Emilie Moutin and Frederic Dupuis, performing regularly across France, Cyprus, and the UK. A move to London in 2010 culminated in a Master of Arts in violin performance from the Royal Academy of Music in 2011, a period marked by diverse concerts and the organization of international music festivals. His international presence extends to Mexico City, Spain,France,England where he gave the world premiere of Ivan Bellocq’s “Six Forests” for violin and piano. Since 2013, Chrysostomos has been dedicated to nurturing young musical talent at the Music School of Paphos. His ongoing collaboration with the Kimonos Art Center since 2015 blends classical music with the captivating world of animation in unique audiovisual concerts.
